Pixel Flesh UK Branding
Creative direction and design briefing for the digital assets, merchandise and stickers for the launch of my debut book Pixel Flesh. The ‘Written by Ellen Atlanta’ tees were created as a feminist alternative to the viral ‘Written and Directed by Quentin Tarantino’ tees and were reprinted four times for fans of the book. At the Pixel Flesh launch events, the t-shirts were worn by the pseudonymised women within the book’s chapters, as well as other female guests to create a sense of sorority and shared history.
QR code stickers were printed and placed all around London for people to pre-order the book, while posters covered the walls at our events, with influential women answering the question ‘How can we create a more beautiful future for women and girls?’. All assets were made as both stills and animated videos, meaning stickers also became gifs and posters became amorphous wall projections.
